I sent home a pink sheet of paper today with a list of student names so that everyone can get started on their valentines. Please make sure to send these in by Friday, February 11th. We will have our valentines party on Monday.
WSBT I love to READ Challenge February 8, 2011
Starting at 5pm tonight on the WSBT website you can vote for Jefferson to win the I love to read challenge for Wednesday, February 9th. If we are the winning school someone from WSBT will come to our school and read a book to us. We could even be on TV! Please help us and vote as much at you can!!
100 Day January 27, 2011
The 100th day of school will be Monday, January 31st. Please send in 100 items in a baggie with your child. Some items to send in would be 100 noodles, pennies, stickers, etc. Be as creative as you want to be. Just make sure the items aren’t too big

Healthy Heart January 27, 2011
The “Healthy Heart Lady” came to talk to use about how to keep our hearts healthy. She even let all of us hear our own heart beats and we got to see a real heart (pigs)
Border’s and Donor’s Choose December 4, 2010
Don’t forget that Border’s is doing an awesome thing for schools on December 4th and 5th. I have a project on the Donor’s Choose site for literacy activities. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we can get some of it funded!!
